Together we have just passed a major milestone - Millo Kickstarter campaign is now 100% funded. This means that Millo is going into production.
You are going to be one of the few that will receive Millo Smoothie Maker early next year right after the 1st production run. It is an amazing feeling and responsibility for me to be in this position.
I can reassure you that I will do everything in my power to deliver you Millo as promised. A device that has the potential to lead to a great change for good in your health and life!
While it might look like with campaign being at 100% the goal is reached there’s still something else to aim for. I think you will love it! :)
After a bit of research it turned out that it’s possible to add a vacuum valve that can help keep your smoothies fresh for longer. The stretch goal for the valve is set for £ 100 000 which is only £ 19 973 away from where the campaign currently is. If it is reached you will receive the lid with valve and vacuum pump free of charge together with your reward.
Make sure to share Millo with your friends and family and let’s reach this milestone for fresher smoothies!

You know what’s sometimes even more exciting than you supporting and backing Millo? The invaluable advice you give us every single day!
Yesterday Eric introduced me to a brilliant idea - awarding the production 1st Millo that’s numbered and hand signed to the most active supporter on top of whatever you’ve already pledged for.
How to become the most active supporter? It’s simple! Recommend Millo to your friends and become the one who has the most friends pledge for any reward involving Millo. If you already did that before - that counts too!
Make sure to either message us with the full names of your friends afterwards or tell them to message us that you recommended Millo to them.
Anything works here - share it on Facebook, Twitter, print a poster at work or tack it to a lamp post, we don’t judge, just make sure we know the names so your effort counts!

How to keep your smoothies fresh?

Blended fruits and vegetables oxidize quickly and smoothies are no exception. Within minutes they start losing their taste, look and most importantly nutrients. This is why it is recommended to consume smoothies straight after blending or preserve them.
Luckily we have been able to find a simple solution to preserve smoothies in Millo’s On-the-Go Cup and it only requires a bit of extra effort and budget on our part.
When the campaign reaches £ 100 000 every drinking lid will come with a built in vacuum valve. Additionally you will get a FREE vacuum creating hand pump with every Millo you pledged for!
There are two ways you can help to make it happen:
1. Upgrade your pledge by adding an extra on-the-go cup. Add £54 ($69) for every additional set of On-the-Go Cup with Smart Lid or £38 ($49) without a Smart Lid (it will still have the drinking lid with the vacuum valve!). Smart Lid is the one with the blades, so if you are sharing Millo at home, you can share it too.
2. Help spread the word by sharing the Millo campaign with your friends:
Let’s reach this milestone together for fresher and tastier smoothies! Every drinking lid will come with a built in vacuum valve. Remember, you won’t need to pledge anything extra for the vacuum functionality, it will be the default when the stretch goal is reached!

5AM today I was already brushing my teeth after it became clear that I won’t be able to go back to sleep. As it turned out that was right in time for the last Friday’s challenge. Saturday was the most active day of Millo campaign. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that you chose to pledge for 18 more Millo smoothie makers during the weekend!
A special thanks goes to Dominic who is going to meet the team and see the development of Millo up close (Millo Insider Reward). This is huge support to the project and all of our team says thank you!
Now back to my promise to swim 100 meters, cycle and run a kilometer for every Millo summed up to 1.8 km of swimming, 18 km of cycling and 18 km running. The hardest part was running. The last few kilometers were challenging, but I knew there is no other choice but to go until my promise is fulfilled. Ended up as exactly 18 kilometers! Another week has passed and you’ve helped the Millo campaign surpass the 70% funded mark. Thank you!
One of Millo’s fans shared an important aspect of Kickstarter campaigns and good practices in general. You - a backer and supporter like to be kept in the loop and know what’s going on with the project. You are at the very least entitled to regular updates.
While Millo isn’t fully funded yet it’s moving in that direction and I feel that commitment is already important.
As the campaign ends (when and if it’s funded of course) I and the whole Millo team is going to provide you with regular updates every 2 weeks to keep you in the loop.
